We are a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) focused on AI applications in smart healthcare. We serve as a one-stop shop for the development of digital solutions in the health sector.
We see AI as a catalyst for taking Europe into a healthy future. To do this we need a strong ecosystem of startups and tech innovators to fuel the digital transformation of healthcare systems and medicine of tomorrow.
We provide solutions
European health systems are increasingly burdened with a shortage in medical professional staff, long waiting times and a rising demand for services driven by an ageing population. This leads to substantial financial constraints.
Digital healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries in the global healthcare market, with AI as a key tool in the development of smart health. AI can be deployed in just about any facet or activity of the health industry, from clinical decision-making and public health, to biomedical research and drug development, to health system administration and service redesign.
The integration of AI technologies is recognized within the EU as crucial in controlling and reducing the costs of health services and the long-term sustainability of health systems.
