Competition Overview<\/h2>\n

The AI4Health.Cro competition runs from February 29th to April 12th, culminating in a public presentation on April 18th, 2024. This initiative aims to address the significant issue of early rehospitalization, where a notable percentage of patients are readmitted shortly after their previous hospital stay. Research indicates that up to 50% of these readmissions could be preventable, highlighting the critical need for more accurate predictions and a deeper understanding of potential risk factors.<\/p>\n

AI-based solutions utilizing clinical data can offer better prediction of the need for additional interventions, thereby reducing costs and suggesting new approaches to prevent frequent readmissions. This is your chance to contribute!<\/p>\n

Invitation to Innovate: Teams and Individual Competitors<\/h2>\n

We call upon teams and individual competitors to apply for the competition to develop innovative solutions to the problem of early rehospitalization using artificial intelligence. This challenge seeks to address a critical issue in healthcare and provides a platform for innovators to showcase their skills and potentially transform the healthcare landscape.<\/p>\n

Who Can Apply?<\/h2>\n

The competition is open to all adults with full legal capacity who respond to the Public Call. Participants can apply individually or in teams of 2 to 5 members. For individual applicants, the organizers will arrange new teams.<\/p>\n
