15 October 2024 – The 14th annual “IBIS Days,” organized by IN2 Group, took place on October 10, 2024, at Terme Sveti Martin in Me\u0111imurje, reaffirming its position as the premier event for IT professionals in healthcare. This year\u2019s conference attracted a significant number of attendees, including users from various healthcare institutions, who came to explore the latest advancements in hospital, laboratory, and business information systems.<\/strong><\/p>

The conference showcased the technological transfer of the IBIS portfolio, featuring numerous enhancements designed to streamline hospital operations and improve the daily functionality of health institutions. IN2 Group has consistently demonstrated the reliability and efficiency of the IN2 BIS system, supporting it with continuous updates and dedicated team support. Ivan Gabri\u0107, President of IN2 Group, proudly noted, “Our healthcare and public administration sector team has once again organized an exceptional conference. We remain committed to the technological enhancement of the IBIS system, aiming to maintain our leadership in healthcare IT reforms.”<\/p>

AI4Health.Cro, coordinated by the Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Institute, was also prominently featured at the conference. Dr. Anja Bare\u0161i\u0107, our project coordinator, presented the extensive range of services our European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) offers to users, including Test Before Invest Services, Education and Training Services, Networking Services, and Financing Support Services. Dr. sc. Smuc Tomislav, AI4Health.Cro Coordinator for Science and Technology, showcased the impressive results of a successful AI4Health.Cro innovation challenge that focused on early rehospitalization, demonstrating the tangible benefits and potential of AI technologies in healthcare.<\/p>

A standout feature of this year\u2019s conference was the guest lecture from the Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Institute, which captivated attendees with insights into the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The focus also extended to the development of web technologies and their upcoming implementations, signaling a future where technology deeply integrates into healthcare infrastructures.<\/p>

Moreover, the conference held a humanitarian aspect, where healthcare institutions using the IBIS system were invited to submit projects for a chance to present them and win \u20ac10,000 for implementation. This year, the pediatric neuropediatric team from General Hospital Dr. Josip Ben\u010devi\u0107 in Slavonski Brod won with their project to equip a sensory room, enhancing care and support for their youngest patients.<\/p>

Alen Milohani\u0107, an IT technician from KBC Sestre milosrdnice, shared his impressions: “It was impressive to see the level of dedication IN2 Group has towards healthcare innovation. The introduction of solutions like the CheckIN2 patient reception system notably reduces waiting times and simplifies registration processes. The upgrades, including a new surgical protocol and multiple patient history access, provide a faster and more organized way of managing patient documentation across various medical disciplines.”<\/p>

IBIS Days has consistently served as a nexus for sharing innovations and experiences, fostering a collaborative environment among users and creators of the IBIS system.
