Croatian EDIH Teams Participated in the EDIH Annual Summit

1 June 2023 – Croatian European Digital Innovation Hubs: EDIH Adria, CROBOHUB++ and AI4Health.Cro actively participated in the Annual Summit of the EDIH Network held on May 31 – June 1 2023 at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. Supported by the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA), this event marked the official launch of the EDIH Network and promoted its core mission of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation across Europe.

The annual summit served as a platform to bring together representatives, decision makers and experts from the EDIH community to share knowledge and best practices that effectively support SMEs in achieving their digital goals. The main objective of the summit was to foster a sense of community and knowledge sharing among EDIHs to enable these centers to provide quality services to SMEs.

The EDIH network consists of over 250 European Digital Innovation Hubs from across the continent that play a critical role in equipping SMEs with the resources they need to succeed in the digital age. These centers offer a wide range of services, including testing and experimentation facilities, training and mentoring, access to funding, and networking opportunities.

During the annual summit, participants, including members of the EDIHs and policymakers, shared and deliberated on how to effectively incorporate digital trends and technologies into the services offered by the EDIHs. The event included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions that provided attendees with numerous opportunities to network and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from each other, share experiences, and share their views with their peers.

The European Digital Innovation Hubs Network plays a leading role in the digital transformation and empowerment of EU businesses. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, the network empowers SMEs to navigate the digital landscape and take advantage of technological advances.
